Comparatus cum aliis calculis fungalis, Bgl1G5 similem actionem optimalem in pH 6.0 et 50 °C ostendit et stabilis fuit. ad pH 5.0–9.0.Praeterea Bgl1G5 bonum thermosbilitas in 50°C (6 h media vita) exhibuit et altiorem specificam actionem (54.9 U mg-1).Valores max K m et V versus p-nitrophenyl β-D-glucopyranoside (pNPG) sunt 0.33 mM et 103.1 μmol min-1 mg-1, respective.Substratum specifitas tentamen ostendit Bgl1G5 valde activum fuisse contra pNPG, debilem in p-nitrophenyl β-D-cellobioside (pNPC) et p-nitrophenyl-β-D-galactopyranoside (ONPG), neque actionem in cellobiosam habuisse.
